Ms. Mudahogora is a co-founder / Co- Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Uzima Network Inc. registered in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Also Co- founder of the Mimosa du quartier operating in Gatineau, Quebec.
Solange's cumulated over 26 years experience at national and international has led to expertise in various areas, including management, development and implementation of community programs, research, evaluation, capacity building and advocacy in the area of Settlement and Integration, immigrant health/mental health, women and children protection, HIV/AID, Reproductive and Sexual health, public policy consultations, and human rights.
Solange served on the board of directors for various community-based organizations, including Immigrant Migrant Women of Halifax, the United African Canadian Women Association in Nova Scotia, Co- Chaired the Canadian Council for Refugees' national immigration and Settlement working group. Now, she sits on the Universalist Unitarian Church Halifax Refugee private sponsorship committee. She has worked with differ ent Non-Government Organizations and UN agencies as well as Academic institutions.
Joanne Owuor , co-founder/ Co- Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of Uzima Network, brings over 13 years experience in migrant settlement and integration. She has worked in the not for profit sector in leadership, research, and management roles and has developed expertise in grassroots coalition building, implementing anti-racism strategies, community outreach, and leading multi-stakeholder engagement and strategic planning for migrant communities.
Joanne holds the values of racial equity and justice central to her work and engages individuals and organisations in this work through advocacy,education, and community building. She brings her vast experience in program development, strategic partnerships, grant writing, and community development to the work that she does as a consultant with Black led organisations in New Brunswick. She has served in various committees and working groups including New Brunswick's committee on Refugee Mental Health, Local Immigration Partnership"s Children and Youth committee( co-chair),
